Joining GEAR

Covenant Members provide the prayer, finances and active participation that enables GEAR to serve the URC so valuably. As a voluntary network we are totally dependent on the support of these people.

Although there are just 400 members, many more people in the churches value the work of GEAR and attend the national and/or local conferences and events, and over 3000 copies of the "IN GEAR" magazine are distributed at each edition.

Today there is a new openness to evangelism as the URC seeks to be more outward looking and aims to arrest our decline. Such aims can only be achieved when we are open to the leading and empowering of the Holy Spirit, and GEAR wants to be active in encouraging personal and corporate renewal.

If you are part of the URC and support our Aims, please do consider prayerfully and seriously whether you will join us. Your direct interest and prayer support would be a great help at this important time in our church's life. Together we can make a difference.

How to join GEAR

Covenant Membership of GEAR is open to all who support the aims of GEAR and will covenant to pray for and identify with those Aims. A minimum annual donation of £15 per household is suggested, and tax payers are encouraged to GIFT AID this whenever possible.

You can print it from there using the PRINTER button, or save it onto your computer using the SAVE button.)

Please send the completed form to the Membership Secretary (contact details are on the form).
