Refreshing Your Ministry 2027

This gathering builds on the previous successful events in recent years and includes teaching input, Bible studies and worship, space for prayer plus available down-time with colleagues away from regular responsibilities. This is for serving URC ministers, Ministers of other denominations serving in an LEP, CRCWs, and also includes Local Leaders considered active by their synod and Retired ministers who are considered to be active by their Synod.

Rev Chris Haynes is an Evangelical Presbyterian Church (EPC) Minister and an elder of the International Baptist Church of Prague, where he has been serving as a missionary with Presbyterian-Reformed Ministries International (PRMI) since 2014. He is PRMI’s Liaison to the Vatican. He has been involved with mission teams to multiple countries, cooperating with the Holy Spirit and seeing Him at work in guidance, healings and conversions. He runs the Alpha Course in Czech for students, and uses the Narnia Chronicles as a helpful conversation-starter for Czech-speakers who are learning English. Chris has recently prepared a fresh edition of R.A. Torrey’s classic The Baptism with the Holy Spirit and is translating this into multiple other languages.

Rev Paul Stokes is a URC Minister serving as the Director of the Dunamis Institute, enabling the distinctive biblical DNA of Dunamis teaching to empower present and future generations in prayer, healing, evangelism, and deliverance ministry. Having pastored in Plymouth for 30 years, served as a GEAR Evangelism and Renewal Advocate, and co-authored Growing the Church in the Power of the Holy Spirit, he brings rich ministry experience to equipping leaders and congregations to grow in cooperating with the Spirit. He has led the Dunamis Fellowship in Britain and Ireland for 20 years, and takes great delight in equipping teachers and leadership teams to pass this teaching on to others.
